Show up for your business by making and editing videos that are misaligned with your personal values and provide zero financial return
Spend all of your time in an endless cycle of content creation only to discover that your success in finding clients on social media relies on elusive algorithms and costly ads
Get burned out from learning the latest marketing strategy, which sees you constantly taking courses and training rather than taking action to grow your business right now
Run free webinars, challenges or live sessions that take up a lot of time and only attract tyre-kickers, leaving you feeling discouraged and resentful
Create freebie lead magnets that only entice less qualified leads who are unlikely to ever buy from you
Put all of your efforts into securing sales calls that take up time and energy and rely on you being ‘on the ball’ that day
Rely on paying for ads for leads that are expensive and tricky to set up
Become more visible by creating meaningful content that increases your reputation, credibility and authority—the kind of content that positions you as a recognised expert, not just another face on social media.
Effortlessly and consistently attract high-quality leads that are ready to buy from you now—imagine, not relying on creating more lead magnets, lengthy email sequences or going on uncomfortable sales calls.
Build a valuable email list of clients who've already bought from you and are 30% more likely to buy from you again, resulting in you spending less time and money on marketing.
Become the go-to expert in your industry so you gain recognition and lucrative opportunities to speak, write and collaborate to promote your business.
Implement a bespoke strategy to not only simplify your marketing efforts but also ensure success because it's deeply aligned with your personal and business values.
Create a genuine business asset that grows your business for years to come—You've created something you are proud of, which makes it easy and exciting to promote.
Rapidly create prototypes that generate leads and income as you write your book, so you can validate your ideas and cover the costs associated with production and the promotion of your business.
Scale your business by serving more clients who couldn't otherwise afford your high-ticket offers and products.

We have this romantic viewpoint about writers being cloistered away working on their books. We hear about people taking sabbaticals and going on writing retreats to work on their books and we immediately dismiss this from the realms of possibility because we cannot afford the time. I completely understand, but this whole ‘taking time away to be more productive thing’ is a complete fallacy—you do not have to spend time away from your business or family to write your book! In fact, I know many writers who have scheduled large chunks of time to write, only to find they feel blocked and unproductive and then guilty for wasting their time and opportunity. Writing a book happens in increments. It fits around your life as you live it. Julia Cameron talks about the myth that we must have time in order to write. ‘Making writing a big deal tends to make writing difficult. Keeping writing casual tends to keep it possible.’
Here's the great thing, you get to decide how long it takes. By using the notion of creative constraints, you'll decide how much time you spend and when you want to finish. Having an effective book plan will help you determine when this is and make sure you finish what you start. I've worked with writers who took 3, 6, 8 or 12 months, it's really up to you and your business and personal goals.
I hear this a lot from solopreneurs. After all, you didn’t get into business to be a writer, right? Let’s face it you probably don’t think of yourself as a writer first and foremost. But you are a business owner who also happens to write. If you’re already writing blogs, social media captions, website content, sale pages, landing pages and other marketing material to promote your business, then guess what? You are a writer! All the things you are worried about, such as spelling, grammar and structure, can be improved by hiring a professional editor. All writers do this. You don't have to do everything all on your own!
I hear from incredibly talented women every day who say, 'But Aimee, I'm not really an expert. I don't have a PhD or 20 years of experience.'. My dear fellow solopreneur, even if you had a PhD, you STILL wouldn't feel like an expert in your field or industry. No PhD walks away feeling like an expert—take it from me! Even some of the most talented women senior professors I've worked with struggle to see themselves as subject experts. But here's what you need to know. All of your experience is valuable. When I first left academia, I thought I'd help people with my specialist knowledge. But it was the things I could do, which I took for granted, that people wanted to pay me to help them learn. For me that was project management—for you, it might be something you don't necessarily emphasise in your business. Please don't underestimate your talents and how much people want and need your take on solving their problems. This is what makes a compelling and marketable nonfiction book!
I stand behind what I make. I believe in sharing my knowledge to help other women solopreneurs grow their businesses. My business is to help you grow your business!
I believe in doing the work. There are no easy and quick ways to grow your business (but you knew that anyway). Writing a book isn’t for everyone. It takes a certain level of determination and commitment. The Write Start will help you determine whether writing a book is what you want for yourself and your business. Even if you decide not to write a book, I believe there is genuine value in gaining a clear vision of your business using my process.
I want you to feel satisfied with your decision to purchase my book. That's why I'm offering a 7-day full money-back guarantee. All I ask is that you contact me and tell me the reason why The Write Start isn't right for you and your business, so I can continue making improvements.
